La Closerie Les Beguines LC 13

Parker: The NV Extra Brut Les Béguines LC 13 was showing brilliantly, to the extent that I think even Prévost himself was a little taken aback by how good it was. Produced from grapes harvested in October at full maturity, the wine soars from the glass with scents of yellow orchard fruit, orange zest, toasted macadamia nuts and dried white flowers. It's full-bodied, deep and multidimensional, with excellent concentration, ripe but racy acids and a long, saline finish. It's a vintage of Les Béguines that isn't represented in my cellar, and I left kicking myself that I hadn't purchased any bottles.
