Parker: The 2009 Pinot Noir Passion is deep, pure, refined and elegant on the intense nose that exhibits blackberry aromas along with notes of raw meat, crushed stones and toasty flavors! Full-bodied, intense and generous on the palate, this is a dense and powerful, tightly structured Pinot Noir with wild, potted strawberry and cherry aromas on the long and intense aftertaste. The tannins are fine and vital and give this generous body the right structure. The 2009 is richer, more supple and powerful than the classic 2008, and it probably has a longer aging capacity. It also tastes younger than just one year compared to the 2008, but it finds its successor in the 2018. 13.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted in January 2022.
